This year may be the year of "it's a marathon - not a sprint". Dakota is still in therapy for his heel and is making slow progress, but fingers crossed it keeps improving! He has been able to at least run the chute during vaccination/pregnancy check day for our fall herd and be in the barn for our AI days to get our spring herd re-bred! The doctor has cleared him for work, so once the weather breaks we will have some readjusting to do to juggle our little guy and the farm life.
In April we will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays. We have some awesome vendors at the farm again!
Market news - We have been accepted to Port Clintons newest market - Lake Erie Festival Marketplace! We will be rotating this market with Wooster, so we will be in Port Clinton 2x a month with the exception of September! More details on the website!
Our next pork harvest date is May 21 at Pinhook. The cattle are growing and we are hoping they will be ready for you all by May 21. I am starting a list again and as cattle reach weight I will go in order in which deposits are paid. Feel free to book your deposits online through our website.
